Description
This is an abstract batik of a horse galloping and swept up as breath itself in the mountain landscape, the breath becoming wind. It is built on layers of jeweled batik patterns entwined in the negative space. the powerful energy of the wind and nature is integrated with the horse here. Many wax applications and dye baths with bleaching out and redyeing were completed to to achieve these colors and effects.
