It delights in the color and whimsy of nature and contains work with the the tjanting tool, brushes and took many dyebaths as well as many bleachings, wax applications and contrasting colors dyed in. The llamas are portrayed with the Adirondacks Mountains that our farm was at the foothills of. The spirit of the batik comes from the pasture at night in the magic of the full moon. It is part of my "Cast away to the Fields" series. The batik is a colorful, playful, very large batik. It will be a welcome addition to any home where nature, farms the moon and llamas are appreciated as well as the many natural patterns that decorate the batik.
