Fire Breathing Dragon metal print by Carol Law Conklin. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This is inspired by ancient South American Indian images. Mostly, I used brushes to apply a wax mixture that was 90 percent beeswax and ten percent paraffin. The tjanting tool had a place in describing the flames and the dragon's mane.

I enjoyed doing this ancient dragon painted with beeswax before each dyebath to limit the crackle effect. I'm glad you enjoy it too.
