This image is a celebration of the winter sunset light on my fav subject...the horse. Here you can see two horses in harness pulling a sleigh swept up in the excitement of a snowy night. It displays a combination of many batik techniques. The batik has a stained glass effect. The high stepping horses are painted in wax on a fine cotton fabric and dyed through many stages. Prints of this batik are also available here on etsy. All who loves horses, snow and winter sunsets will love to own this original batik.
