Horses Meet in the Wind metal print by Carol Law Conklin. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This is an abstract batik of two horse spirits merging in the wind and swept up as well as creating the wind. It is built on layers of patterns with the horses created and entwined in the negative space. the powerful energy of the wind and nature is integrated here. The tjanting tool applied most the wax lines and this batik went through many dyebaths and bleaching color out and then more dyebaths to achieve the many rainbow shades.
